We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Training Manager to join our team. This role involves delivering professional hairdressing training to local stylists, focusing on Japanese-standard techniques. You will serve as an educator and role model, elevating the technical skills and service quality of the local beauty industry.
In addition to training experienced stylists, you will also provide hands-on instruction to local individuals with no prior hairdressing background, guiding them to acquire foundational cutting and styling techniques.

Job Description

• Conduct practical and theoretical training sessions for local hairstylists
• Develop and tailor training content to match Japanese industry standards
• Provide hands-on demonstrations and constructive feedback
• Supervise trainees' progress and assess skill development
• Collaborate with the management team to enhance training programs

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of professional hairdressing/haircut experience
• At least 5 years working in a Japanese salon in Singapore or overseas
• Experience in a managerial or higher position at a salon, with a proven track record of providing technical guidance to in-house stylists
• Strong technical skills in cutting, colouring, perming, and styling
• Ability to communicate effectively with trainees in English
• Passion for education and professional development
