MaK, one of the top engine brands in the medium-speed propulsion market, currently has an opportunity for a Marine Technical Support Manager in Singapore. This role will assist with product health problem management within an assigned territory. You will maximize Customer Loyalty by providing technical advice / solutions to the reciprocating engines related to products, applications, and maintenance requirements. You will add value by maintaining and improving long term customer loyalty.

What You Will Do:

• Provide technical guidance and counselling to engine operators on Operation Excellence and Service Preventive Maintenance / Overhaul best practices.
• Participates in discussions with engine owners to develop a variety of effective solutions to deal with product health issues (may include site visits to vessels and powerplants).
• Fosters strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and on-going feedback/improvement.
• Building Internal team technical capabilities to identify, recommend and repair product deficiencies.
• Collaborate internally with business partners to deliver product defect fixes for our end users promptly.

What You Have:

• Vessel engine repair / technical experience
• Should demonstrate good mechanical comprehension and strong communication skills with technical staff and fellow employees
• Knowledge of maintenance process and ability to communicate with other technical personnel and machine repair practices and procedures
