Providing Quality Care
- Work with the Centre Manager to analyse and evaluate nursing care plan provided for the clients
- Co-ordinate with Nursing Aides / Assistants and Healthcare Assistants to implement care plan such as medication, hygiene care, social and physical activities for the clients
- Identify symptoms of the clients that are related to illnesses and / or decline in functional and cognitive abilities and advocate early medical attention
Training & Development
- Mentor and guide the Nursing Aides / Assistants and Healthcare Assistants in performing their functional duties
- Participate in relevant quality improvement and assessment activities
Administration and Management
- Educate family members of clients on the clients' health conditions and help them gain understanding on the holistic care provided
- Ensure all documentation of the clients' case is maintained appropriately
- Deputise the Centre Manager in his / her absence
- Any other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager
Educational Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution as approved by Singapore Nursing Board
Years of Experience
- At least 3.5 years of experience, preferably from the public healthcare or nursing home sector
