In addition, this position assists the Group Treasurer in liaison with financial institutions and oversee risk management on finance operation of Group Companies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain good relationship with financial institutions to support business needs, including credit facilities renewal, loan covenant compliance and KYC requirements.
- Monitor bank balances of the Group Companies to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet business needs and ensure effective cash management and interest rate risk control. Key responsibilities include overseeing intercompany funding and borrowings, mitigating financial risks and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and agreements.
- Review cash flow projections of the whole group companies and consolidate the projections into the Group rolling cash forecast for monthly cash flow reporting and annual finance budgeting.
- Manage dividend distribution from investments to the upstream companies and monitor foreign exchange risk.
- Assist Group Treasurer to develop and execute the Idle Cash Investment Strategy to achieve a reasonable return on investible funds while ensuring liquidity for identified and committed investments.
- Assist Group Treasurer to develop, implement, and maintain finance operation procedures to ensure proper control and adequate risk management.
- Other assignments as instructed by the Group Treasurer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
- 15 years or more experience in finance, accounting, or related fields, including roles with significant responsibilities.
- Good understanding of financial investment products and analysis.
- Possess good interpersonal and written communication skills.
