Additional job description

The GCS Product and Sales Activation (PSA) team is responsible for creating and scaling solutions for SMBs. We are the product and business experts supporting thousands of sales teams and advertisers.The role of PSA is to drive the commercialization strategy for Google's ads business and help shape the product roadmap to meet the specific requirements of our group of advertisers. Our focus is to grow customers by launching new products to market, empowering our sales teams with impactful resources, and channeling customer feedback to the product development team.

In this role, you will be helping to build strategies to effectively transfer product knowledge to sales and activate the largest revenue opportunities. You will be a key business partner to the OneAcquisition organization, helping sellers in OneAcquisition programs to position our products more effectively and be an advocate for the customer helping to bring their feedback to the product teams to ensure it meets the needs of our newest and smallest customers. You will be the main point of contact for OneAcquisition leadership as a thought partner and driver for product strategy.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop the activation strategy to drive a suite of products and at-scale events for sellers to upskill on products and pitching successfully.
  • Be a business partner to leadership including driving alignment, accountability and commitment on product priorities and quarterly GTM plans. Understand how the region is pacing towards target, develop insights and plans to accelerate hitting targets.
  • Develop strong understanding of product needs of different customer goals and seller roles, and influence global stakeholders to develop the right training, collateral and positioning to meet these needs.
  • Identify roadblocks in seller workflows and collaborate with global and partner teams, Strategy and Operations, to solve challenges and help promoters pitch more effectively.
  • Support effective product activation, synthesizing trends from seller engagements and data, providing insightful trading reporting to sales to motivate managers and leads to act.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in advertising, marketing technology, management consulting, or product management.
  • Experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working with Product Management or Engineering teams, executive leadership, or cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of our product portfolio across all ad products particularly on Automation and Measurement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and turn them into stories that spark an audience.
  • Experience in complex project management, with the ability to influence people, manage resources or budgets and hit objectives and timelines.
  • Knowledge of creation and delivery of training across a large sales organization.
  • Ability to communicate to stakeholders and tailor communications across different levels of the organization including directors, managers and promoters.
  • Experience in highly analytical role with a focus on deriving insights.
