Brief Job Description\tSystem administrator

Responsibilities:

• \tProvide maintenance and support services for day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Platforms including Cloud.

• \tProvide support in migrating, upgrading, configuring, and administering the Enterprise Platforms

• \tUnix/windows administration

• \tTrack, troubleshoot and resolve any reported technical issues.

• \tPerform application deployment as per given SOP.

• \tCo-ordinate and work with vendors to have the issues resolved.

• \tProvide on-site support for all downtime for client-end, server-end and the following day standby support if required.

• \tMonitor, and apply patches of applications and related platform components in all environments. Support and ensure that the Enterprise Platforms are operational after patching.

• \tMonitor alerts, investigate and resolve the problem within SLA.

• \tProvide management of accounts and access rights for the applications

• \tTrouble-shoot, diagnose, analyse and correct all identified and latent errors in the system in order to ensure the smooth operation of the platform.

• \tConduct system checks after facilities or preventive maintenance related activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

• \tAt least 2 years of working experience in administering Windows/Unix systems.

• \tAt least a Diploma in Computer Science, Computing, Engineering, IT or equivalent.

• \tGood knowledge of application deployments.

• \tStrong interest in investigating and identifying causes of issues, and able to propose solutions to rectify the issue.

• \tGood planning and coordination skills.

• \tGood writing and verbal communication skills.

• \tCertifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, MCSE, MCSA, or equivalent are a plus
