Role Description

We are seeking a proactive and driven Acquisition Editor to join our publishing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing potential clients through our provided databases and external connections, pitching our publishing services, and supporting clients throughout the publishing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage potential clients through databases, media platforms, and external networks, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Promote our publishing services, guiding researchers and authors in publishing their work with us.
• Effectively manage client relationships by categorizing leads, tracking follow-ups, and analyzing client needs to ensure personalized engagement.
• Provide regular updates to clients on the publication process, including manuscript review status and editorial feedback.
• Offer expert guidance throughout the manuscript submission, review, and publication process, ensuring a seamless client experience.
• Prepare and send quotations, manage invoicing, and oversee the collection of publication processing fees.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales KPIs as set by the company.
