Our client is a fast-growing AI technology start-up company partnering with leading manufacturing enterprises. Their proprietary AI software is deployed across production lines to enhance defect classification and optimize inspection processes using advanced AI and software solutions. As their business grows, they are hiring a Technical AI Software Project Delivery Manager to drive successful deployment and adoption of their AI-powered inspection systems across customer sites.

About the Role

As a Technical AI Software Project Delivery Manager, you will lead the implementation of AI and software solutions in real-world production line environments. You will work at the intersection of AI, software, and manufacturing teams to coordinate project timelines, resolve deployment challenges, and ensure that the solutions deliver measurable value. This role blends technical AI software project delivery, stakeholder management, and hands-on troubleshooting. You will collaborate across internal teams and customer stakeholders to overcome blockers, accelerate timelines, and ensure smooth adoption of AI systems in high-performance manufacturing settings.

7 MUST-HAVE Requirements:

1. Project Management Experience in AI / Software / Manufacturing Tech

You have experience managing technically complex projects involving AI or software systems, ideally within manufacturing environments. You're adept at driving timelines, solving integration challenges, and delivering results in high-stakes production contexts.

2. Problem-Solving and Rapid Learning

You're curious and analytical - you ask the right questions and identify practical, effective solutions. You're comfortable getting hands-on to resolve issues related to deployment, software bugs, data gaps, or user experience.

3. Hands-On Implementation of AI & Software Solutions

You've been actively involved in implementation tasks such as model adjustments, pipeline fixes, feature development, or troubleshooting integration issues. You're able to prioritize high-impact tasks and juggle multiple workstreams to maintain momentum.

4. Bilingual Fluency in English and Mandarin

You are fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written). You'll liaise with internal teams and customer stakeholders across the region, including Mandarin-speaking engineering and operations personnel.

5. Strong Stakeholder Management & Communication Skills

You're confident presenting technical concepts to a range of audiences - from engineers to business leaders. You tailor your messaging to suit different stakeholders and can clearly articulate the value of AI systems through data, case studies, and demos.

6. Attention to Detail & Proactive Execution

You're organized and thorough, ensuring no task or follow-up is overlooked. You take initiative, engage directly with clients, and are willing to step in wherever needed to drive project success.

7. Manufacturing Domain Knowledge

You understand how quality inspection and defect classification work in manufacturing environments. Prior experience working with inspection teams or quality engineers is a plus. Experience delivering completely new tech initiatives to external customers is advantageous.
