Job Summary:

We are seeking for an experienced and passionate Senior Barista to join our team. As a Senior Barista, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coffee and beverages, ensuring excellent customer service, and mentoring junior baristas. You will also assist with daily cafe operations, inventory management, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our customers.

• Prepare a variety of coffee-based beverages and teas
• Basic service and food preparation
• Maintain drinkware and beverage equipment needed for beverage preparation
• Operate Point of Sales (POS) Systems when managing order
• Address customers' queries on different types of beverages
• Build good rapport with customers to improve customers' experience
• Execute initiatives under customer loyalty strategies
• Follow the organisation's personal, food and beverage hygiene standards
• Execute daily operational tasks according to staff roster
• Execute opening, operating and closing of shifts
• Stock inventory management

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a barista.
• Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of FOH systems, ordering and inventory
• Understand health and safety, and basic food hygiene practices
• Focused perspective on what a high-functioning coffee bar looks like and how to execute
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Passion for coffee and a desire to continually improve skills and knowledge
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service.
