SKGI is seeking a Market Intelligence Manager responsible for employing market and proprietary data, analyzing and projecting future trends and developments in the LPG and LNG markets. The task involves conducting thorough research to identify long-term and short-term market outlooks, providing valuable insights and reports that inform decision-making and capitalize on opportunities in these sectors.

You will also be responsible for:

• Analyze LPG/LNG supply and demand trends and develop and interpret LPG/LNG economic models.

• Provide guidance and analysis to the Trading teams during negotiation processes for new and existing agreements, commercial operations, contract management, and projects.

• Oversee and manage outside industry information services and utilize third-party research and analysis to create proposals and presentations for senior management.

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive database for market projects, commodity pricing, and related information.

• Ensure alignment and effective communication with other disciplines responsible for reporting data across the organization, ensuring consistency in LPG/LNG trading assumptions and economic models.

• Collaborate on quantitative models, sharing and documenting business knowledge to promote understanding of underlying data and analysis, supporting business continuity and transparency.

• Assist in start-up activities and establish business processes, procedures, and technology related to databases, marketing systems, business intelligence, and financial modeling software.

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of experience in the energy trading business or leading consultancies

• 3+ years of managerial positions

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a relevant field of study

• Experience in Quantitative Analysis is required

• Good understanding of optimization, probability, and financial concepts

• Proficiency in SQL, R, and Python

• Outstanding and proven skills in decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving

• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize work effectively

• Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines

• Bilingual (Korean, English) preferred
