Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Chief Concierge.
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations and performance of the Concierge, Bell Desk, and Valet services.
- Support the Chief Concierge in managing all concierge-related activities across the hotel, ensuring smooth, efficient, and guest-centric service delivery.
- Ensure that all team members under the Concierge and Bell Desk comply with hotel standards, policies, and procedures at all times.
- Communicate proactively with the Front Office Manager to share insights, initiatives, feedback, and ideas for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate logs for all guest errands and luggage storage activities.
- Ensure Concierge trolleys are kept clean and polished at all times.
- Oversee and ensure the daily execution of the department's shining ritual.
- Assist in planning manpower allocation and task prioritisation to ensure the Concierge team is optimally positioned to meet guest needs.
- Foster a dynamic, efficient, and service-focused team culture that aligns with hotel guidelines and expectations.
- Ensure the hotel driveway and front entrance area remain clear, clean, and welcoming at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of storerooms to verify proper storage practices and cleanliness; perform monthly inventory checks and ensure accurate documentation.
- Manage stock levels and ensure timely submission of operational and store requisitions on a weekly basis.
- Stay fully aware of the hotel's Fire Evacuation procedures and ensure team preparedness.
- Maintain a meticulous attention to detail in all duties.
- Organise the sorting and timely distribution of all hotel and guest mail, parcels, and messages.
- Ensure daily checklists are completed and that shift handovers are thorough and informative.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, in-house promotions, and outlet operating hours, and ensure the Concierge team is fully informed.
- Stay current on local attractions, dining, entertainment, and cultural highlights in Singapore to provide relevant recommendations to guests.
- Promote hotel services and in-house promotions through suggestive selling.
- Actively promote loyalty programs such as Le Club to guests.
- Uphold a positive, professional, and guest-first attitude at all times.
- Contribute to ongoing service quality improvements for both external guests and internal colleagues.
- Ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service delivery to all guests and team members.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional work environment at all times.
- Adhere strictly to grooming standards and ensure impeccable personal presentation.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct and respect for colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Concierge or senior management.
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge and skills through training and professional development.
- Be receptive to feedback and take appropriate action to improve performance.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to operational needs and changes.
Key Job Requirements
- Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
