Role based in Singapore for a proven and experienced Technical Project Manager in our growing Cyber Day-1 Delivery Team.
Make an Impact by:
- Lead Cyber projects as Customer's primary Point-of-Contact.
- Be responsible for the planning and execution of Cyber projects' in-scope deliverables according to the stipulated project plan and schedule.
- Manage the project Issues and Risks.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices of cyber security technologies to better guide cyber project delivery.
- Typical tasks of the Technical Project Manager, Cyber role consist of:
- Take over newly awarded project from Sales Specialist (SS) and Solution Engineer / Solution Architect (SE/SA), or on-going project from incumbent Project Manager (PM),
- Validate SOW, BOM, and project budget allocations,
- Sync up with SS on the external procurement(s) and target delivery schedule and arrangement,
- Prepare for Customer Kick-off Meeting,
- Host Customer Kick-off Meeting,
- Submit Kick-off Meeting Minutes and follow on issues raised,
- Prepare Project Management Plan (PMP) (incl. Org Chart, Project Schedule, Resource Plan, Communications Plan, Risk Register, Issue Log, etc.) and submit for Customer's approval,
- Be Customer primary Point-of-Contact (POC) on all in-scope project matters during project phase,
- Manage internal and/or external Project Resources (e.g. Delivery Engineers/Architect (DE/DA)) to deliver project milestones and deliverables on schedule,
- Collaborate with other Cross-functional Teams (i.e. SS, SA/SA, Account Manager(AM), Product Manager, Engineering, etc.) and external stakeholders on project related matters,
- Manage approved project budget on APEX Project System and internal project team's time-logging; Seek necessary approval for additional budget, in the event of budget overrun.
- Host Weekly/Bi-weekly/Monthly Project Progress Meeting with Customer
- Submit Weekly/Bi-weekly/Monthly Project Status Update Meeting Minutes and follow up on Action Items
- Manage the preparation and review of in-scope project documentations and submit Customer
- Manage Project Risks; Update Project Risk Register
- Manage Project Issues; Update Project Issue Log
- Manage handover of implemented Cyber technologies to Customer's designated Day-2 Operations (incl. HW/SW Maintenance Agreements)
- Acquire Customer Sign-off and Project Commissioning,
- Notify SS and AM on project completion
- Summarize and document "Lessons Learnt" for continuous improvement
- Release internal and external project resources
- Authorize release of payment to Vendor on goods delivered and/or jobs completed.
Skills for Success:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Information System
- At least 6 years' working experience, within which at least 3 years' are full-time experiences in managing IT projects in the job role of "Project Manager" (or equivalent)
- Fluent communicator in both written and spoken English;
- Good interpersonal, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a passion for cyber security
- PMP Certified (or PRINCE 2 certified) with sound knowledge on project management methodologies
- Decent background knowledge on prevailing cyber security technology products; able to understand and facilitate technical discussions among internal/external stakeholders on cyber security product technical issues and solution matters
- It will be an advantage to possess the following, but not a must:Prior working experience as Project Manager in large complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders
ITIL certified - Prior experience and/or certifications in any of the cyber security technology products.
