JOB DESCRIPTION

• Review the accounts of Singapore and overseas entities to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Manage and oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including budgeting, month-end and year-end reports, as well as the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.

• Provide strategic financial insights to support informed business decision-making.

• Implement robust financial controls and maintain accurate financial records.

• Support the resolution of accounting issues, including the implementation of new accounting standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Make proactive recommendations for process enhancements and support change initiatives that improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial performance monitoring and reporting.

• Assist with annual external audit activities.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory regulations and tax laws.

• Maintain strong working relationships with banks and financial institutions.

• Mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Finance/ Accounting or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.

• Able to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Hands-on, detail-oriented, meticulous, and resourceful.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with overseas entities/ accounts is an added advantage.
