Job Description

  • Lead business development efforts across the ASEAN region, with a focus on expanding global customer accounts in the personal care, home care, and packaging sectors.
  • Identify and engage OEM/ODM partners and FMCG brand owners, converting them into long-term, profitable business relationships.
  • Drive end-to-end sales processes, including prospecting, lead qualification, solution presentation, pricing, and deal closure.
  • Customize sales approaches and product positioning to align with each customer's product strategy and go-to-market plans.
  • Conduct proactive outreach (including cold calling) to identify new opportunities within designated territories.
  • Build strong working relationships with key decision-makers across functions such as Marketing, Product Development, and Procurement.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, customer proposals, and detailed reports on sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on all sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events to promote innovative dispensing solutions and stay aligned with market trends.
  • Organize and manage travel, meetings, and client visits to effectively support sales objectives across regional markets.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management, ideally within OEM/ODM environments or serving FMCG clients in industries such as personal care, home care or packaging.
  • Proven track record in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, with strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of product development cycles and how to tailor technical or service-based solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Experience engaging with cross-functional stakeholders such as Marketing, R&D, Procurement, and Senior Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt sales strategies based on customer type, product positioning, and competitive landscape.
  • Highly self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong hunter mentality to pursue and secure new business.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across the ASEAN region (up to 90%) and occasional international travel for training or strategic meetings.
