The role of the Manager in Community Partnerships is to support the Director in managing the partnerships with corporate and individual supporters, specifically through donations, sponsorship, volunteers activities, corporate partnerships and fundraising events.
A major part of this role is to manage the external communications and the publicity related activities for the organisation.
Another key role is to manage the department and to coach, train and motivate the team to deliver the objectives set.

FUNCTIONAL
- Take responsibility for managing the Community Partnerships income and expenditure budget and ensure that it is in line with the department's business plan and fundraising strategy. Producing monthly reports and summaries will be required.
- Be responsible for the organization in the fundraising, policies, procedures and legal requirements, including submitting reports to IRAS, MSF, Charity Portal and NCSS, administering general correspondence, ensuring prompt acknowledgment letters are sent, and keeping accurate records of fundraising activities.
- Support the Director in managing the Volunteer Management programme for the organisation and including the coaching and advisory of the relevant direct and indirect staff who are involved with volunteers.
- Review and support the maintenance of the SOP of the Volunteer management process.
- Be familiar with the utilisation of the volunteer management software tool (Salesforce or any other CRM) and to review the status to ensure the success of the department.
- Be responsible for the retention of volunteers in the organisation.
- Maintain and develop the existing portfolio of corporate relationships:
- Provide strong account management to in support of the organisation's benefactors retention strategy.
- Design and deliver a communication and contact strategy.
- Secure retention of benefactors.
- Organise cultivation events throughout the year.
- Support the Director in securing sponsorship for Boys' Town's major fundraising events through the development of strong pitches, grant writing and researching potential sponsors to target.
- Effectively represent Boys' Town, at external events, including a variety of networking events, cheque presentations and talks.
- Develop a strategy and manage the data collection and analysis regarding fund-raising and promotional efforts.
- Any other relevant duties reasonably assigned by the Director and/or the Executive Director.
MANAGERIAL
- Represent the department when nominated to participate in leadership or projects meetings.
- Represent the organisation when delegated to participate at external meetings.
- Communicate partnerships related briefings and announcements to the organisation.
- Be the lead support in the communications and publicity areas for the organization.
- Participate in corporate and operational level governance and other committees appointed by the senior management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business studies/ Community development/ Education/ Social Care/ Youth or Social Work
- At least than 5 years' relevant experience VWO/ NPO/ Social service sector
