We seek a skilled Sales Manager & Garland Master to lead our floral operations at our new physical store. This unique role combines retail management with expert craftsmanship in traditional and contemporary floral artistry.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Operations:

• Manage daily store operations, including sales (walk-in/GrabMart/website orders)
• Train and supervise junior staff in garland-making techniques
• Maintain inventory of fresh flowers and materials

Floral Craftsmanship:

• Create intricate garlands using various techniques:
  Petal garlands, ribbon garlands, wedding malai
  Prayer garlands (mala/pooja koodam)
  Floral balls (thoranam/backdrops)
• Design bouquets, wreaths, flower stands, and hair crowns
• Ensure quality control for all floral arrangements

Requirements

• Essential Skills:
  3+ years professional experience in garland tying/floral design
  Mastery of Hindu/Tamil floral traditions (e.g., temple garland styles)
  Physical stamina to work with fresh flowers for 8-10 hours
  Basic retail management skills (inventory/team coordination)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Experience training others in floral arts
  Knowledge of flower preservation techniques
