Gemmologist & Procurement Manager

• Working Days: 5.5 days
• Working Timing: 9-6pm (Mon to Fri) and 9am to 1pm Saturday, Sunday & PH is off.
• Working Location: Orchard Road
• Starting Salary: $6000 to $7000

Job Responsible:

• Gem Identification and Grading:
• Utilize advanced gemmological instruments and techniques to accurately identify and grade gemstones, including diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls

Client Consultation:

• Provide expert advice to clients on gemstone selection, care and investment.
• Assist in the selection of gemstone for jewellery design and creation

Procurement:

• Sourcing and procurement of gemstones.
• Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of gemstone inventory
• Monitor gemstone markets trends and advise on potential investments

Production: Coordinate with designers and workshop on new product development.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years working experience in the retail luxury industry, preferable in a jewellery field.
• Certified Gemmologist (GIA, FGA or other relevant certification) will be added advantage.
• Willing to travel
