SCOPE OVERVIEW

• Execute Underwriting activities and strategies both at local and regional level to achieve both top and bottom line in accordance with prevailing company's underwriting and treaty guidelines.
• Execute an efficient end to end underwriting process and ensuring that the policies are issued in compliance with underwriting guidelines and MAS requirements on data Entry and Accuracy, underwriting details and acceptance limit.
• Plan and implement roll-out strategies for online portal.
• Provide technical advice and support to business units in the respective class of business.
• Experience and understanding of commercial property underwriting, loss prevention and risk management for both NatCat and Man-Made hazards.
• Execute, support and implement ad hoc projects &/or business initiatives towards achievement of company's overall future growth

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Minimum 5 years of underwriting experience in P&C
• Diploma in any discipline
• Insurance certification ComGI & ACII will be a distinct advantage
• Meticulous, have an eye on detail
• Able to work in a dynamic and fast pace environment
• Service oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Competent in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
