Manager, Market Compliance

to join our Global Market Compliance team in Singapore.

We have a global team10 professionals working in Global Market Compliance.

Our team drives market compliance to ensure business continuity, growth and success through interpretation of regulatory frameworks, ensuring correct implementation through instructions and verification through audits. We also take responsibility for Neste's sustainability compliance certifications and other verification scheme audits.

Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are

• Interpret and implement the relevant legislation and its requirements and maintain firm, detailed expertise, knowledge and understanding about applicable legislation, standards, and country specific requirements
• Manage market compliance requirements throughout different functions involved in end to end process
• Coordinate and ensure that relevant reporting and audits (internal, supplier, certification, verification, customer) are done and identified actions are taken

In your daily tasks, you would for example interpret and implement compliance requirements, support suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders on biofuel market compliance related matters, participate in various projects and occasionally visit our suppliers or other Neste sites by participating in sustainability verification audits.

The best combination to success in this role

• 5+ years of working experience from the private sector, preferably from biofuels/chemicals industry
• Good understanding of the biofuel legislation such as EU RED. LCFS and EPA RFS
• Experience from relevant biofuel verification or certification audits such as ISCC EU, ISCC PLUS, RSB etc.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Capability of working precisely in detail, but at the same time ability to understand the big picture
• Agility and ability to think analytically to come up with quick solutions
• Excellent command of English language, other languages is seen as a merit
• Willingness to travel
