Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Curriculum Developer to design and develop high-quality, competency-based training content for WSQ-accredited short courses. The ideal candidate should be familiar with the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) framework and WSQ Competency Standards.

This role is perfect for individuals who possess either a WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (WSQ DACE) or WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (WSQ DDDLP) qualification and are passionate about instructional design, adult learning, and aligning training content to national skills frameworks and industry relevance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop full curriculums, lesson plans, facilitator guides, learner guides, training materials, and assessment tools.
• Ensure curriculum alignment with WSQ Technical Skills & Competencies (TSCs), Performance Criteria (PCs), and Assessment Criteria (ACs).
• Collaborate with trainers to ensure technical accuracy and industry relevance.
• Design and adapt learning content to support adult learning principles and active learning methodologies.
• Ensure all documentation and materials comply with SSG's course accreditation requirements.
• Revise or enhance existing training materials based on feedback from trainers, learners, and accreditation bodies.
• Stay current with developments in your field to ensure relevant and up-to-date course content.

Requirements

• A Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, and / or PhD Candidates in relevant fields.
• Possess WSQ DACE or DDDLP certification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in the subject area.
• Strong writing, organization, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, instructional design tools, and LMS.
• Ability to develop digital learning materials or blended learning resources.
• ACTA/ACLP certification is advantageous but not mandatory for non-delivery roles.
• Recent graduates with strong subject mastery are welcome to apply.

Working Hours

• Project-based with flexible working hours
• Work can be performed remotely or on-site as required
• Must be able to meet agreed milestones and deadlines
• Occasional meetings or review sessions may be scheduled during office hours or weekday evenings
