Casualty Underwriter

We have an exciting opportunity for a Casualty Underwriter at a global insurance leader.

Job Purpose:
Evaluate and price casualty insurance risks to support business growth and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and underwrite new and renewal casualty insurance policies effectively.
• Ensure pricing aligns with market trends and internal profitability goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams for account management and product improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports for underwriting and reviews.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to enhance team performance.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Insurance, Business, or Engineering, ideally with CGI certification.
• 5+ years of casualty underwriting experience with broker/intermediary interaction.
• Strong grasp of risk evaluation and general insurance legal framework.
• Solid understanding of policy terms, pricing, and insurance operations.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The successful Casualty Underwriter must possess sound knowledge of casualty risk and pricing.
