Job Summary

The Brand Ambassador will build strong relationships with existing prestige clients across Singapore. This role is predominantly on-trade focused, with some off-trade responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the premium drinks sector, a background in hospitality, and WSET qualifications. They will excel in presenting and holding product tastings with sommeliers and F&B teams. An established network within Singapore's on-trade sector is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with distributors and customers, ensuring optimal financial outcomes and strategic alignment. Visit venues regularly (hotels, restaurants, private members' clubs and bars), develop relationships with sommeliers, F&B directors, bar managers, and their teams, and actively promote Saicho.
• Education and Training: Train hospitality teams, deliver refresher sessions, and develop Saicho's Tea Masterclass programmes to position Saicho as the leading sparkling tea brand.
• Account Support: Balance your promotional and ambassador activities with high-quality account support with high quality service
• Brand Activations: Conduct in-store samplings for key retail clients and support brand activations to enhance visibility and engagement.
• Perfect Serve Strategy: Assist in developing the perfect serve strategy and storytelling initiatives to elevate Saicho's brand positioning.
• Networking and Events: Represent Saicho at trade events and actively network to build industry connections.
• Team Collaboration: Partner closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy.
• Distributor Growth: Drive distributor efforts to expand Saicho's presence in the market.
• Market Opportunities: Identify and recommend new opportunities, develop long-term and annual plans, manage and deliver the P&L quarterly, and ensure effective execution and follow-through.
• Localised Brand Plans: Collaborate with the local distributor to adapt global strategies for the Singapore market, implementing rigorous evaluation to measure impact and enhance brand value.
• Market Insights: Develop a deep understanding of market trends, including consumer behaviour, competitor activity, and trade developments, to inform commercial and operational decisions.
• Reporting: Compile and share monthly, quarterly, and annual Asia Marketing reports with relevant stakeholders, including the global team.

Key Skills and Experience

• Based in Singapore
• WSET Level 3 or equivalent Tea Sommelier qualification.
• Proven experience working in hospitality with wine, champagne, or spirits.
• Skilled in holding tutored tastings.
• Strong understanding of luxury hotels, restaurants, and premium wine retailers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality capable of building relationships at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in English.
• Interest in luxury goods, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages is a plus.
