Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Oversee the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Develop and maintain financial models, metrics, and KPIs to evaluate business performance, assess risks, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, GST submission and cash flow for management review and external stakeholders.
- Manage the day-to-day Accounts department operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger activities, and provide guidance and training to the team.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory regulations and tax laws.
- Manage financial reports and analysis to help guide business decisions.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance guidelines.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management activities, optimizing cash resources to support business operations and growth initiatives.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, Chartered Accountant or ACCA qualification preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience overseeing Accounting/Finance Department
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (Dynamics 365), and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) will be an advantage.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, people management and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, high ethics value, good analytical and communication skills.
- Able to commence work immediately or with short notice.
