Leading global investment bank, and you'll collaborate closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and developers to ensure high system availability, performance, and scalability of KDB+ environments and DevOps infrastructure.

The Role

• Provide hands-on production support for KDB+/q-based front office systems (market data, pricing, and analytics).
• Work with DevOps pipelines and automation tools to improve deployment and system reliability.
• Monitor and manage real-time trading applications, troubleshoot system and data issues, and ensure rapid resolution of incidents.
• Coordinate with traders and quants to understand business needs and provide high-quality technical solutions.
• Drive improvements to system resilience, latency, and monitoring.
• Participate in release management, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent and stable front office platform performance.

Your Profile :

• Proven experience in application support or DevOps roles within front office environments (investment banking, hedge funds, etc.).
• Strong hands-on experience with KDB+/q - able to read and debug q scripts.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Ansible, etc.).
• Good understanding of networking, monitoring, and logging in real-time systems.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset and comfort working directly with traders/quants.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, low-latency environment.
