Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive comprehensive test strategies and plans across complex projects or programs, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and quality benchmarks.
• Lead cross-functional testing teams (internal, external, onshore, offshore), assign responsibilities based on expertise, and foster a high-performance, collaborative team environment.
• Establish and enforce standardized testing processes, methodologies, and quality assurance best practices while promoting continuous process improvements.
• Supervise execution of end-to-end testing activities including functional, regression, connectivity, system integration (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
• Identify, track, and resolve defects efficiently. Proactively assess risks, implement mitigation plans, and ensure issues are escalated and addressed appropriately.
• Serve as the primary contact for all testing-related activities. Deliver timely updates, status reports, and quality metrics to project managers, developers, and senior leadership.
• Champion automation initiatives in partnership with the automation team, ensuring development and maintenance of test scripts that enhance coverage and efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain thorough documentation of all testing activities. Manage testing budgets, optimize resource allocation, and leverage data insights to inform strategic improvements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Proven team management experience for software testing teams across complex, multi-phase programs.
• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, particularly within the Waterfall framework
• Exposures to Agile and DevOps environments is advantageous.
• Proficient in test and defect management tools such as JIRA, with familiarity in automation tools like Selenium, UFT, and ARIOS.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions.
• Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage testing budgets and optimize resource allocation effectively.
• Relevant certifications preferred, such as ISTQB Advanced Level, PMP, or Agile-related credentials (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster).
