Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Patent Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in patent law, intellectual property strategy, patent drafting and prosecution. You will work closely with clients to secure and protect their innovations, ensuring compliance with local and international patent regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of patent work including the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in Singapore and abroad.
• Conduct comprehensive patent searches and assess patentability.
• Develop and implement intellectual property strategies to protect innovations.
• Provide due diligence support on patent infringement, licensing, and portfolio management.
• Stay updated on changes in patent laws and regulations.
• Support business development initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Candidates will be considered for a Patent Attorney position and will have a bachelor's degree in any engineering or science field. A PhD or Master's degree or an equivalent amount of related work experience will be viewed favourably. More importantly, candidates must exhibit strong English Language communication skills (both written and oral) and the capacity for understanding diverse technologies.
• Qualification: Candidate must be a qualified Singapore patent agent.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in patent law, preferably in a law firm or corporate setting.
• Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
