Are you a highly motivated finance leader ready to make an impact in the fast-paced world of agri trading? Join us as Manager, Accounts for one of our key verticals, where you'll play a key role by focusing on Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and business finance.

In this role, you will be expected to deliver insightful financial analysis, drive process improvements, and lead financial operations. You will also liase with our overseas entities through management consolidation, various data collection as well as supporting them for their HQ requirements-requiring collaboration across time zones and periodic travel to developing regions such as Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting Operations

• Lead timely statutory and management reporting for the Business division with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure effective accounting practices, system integrity, and audit readiness.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles with sharp performance tracking.
• Drive cost management, reporting efficiency, and automation initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.

Internal Controls & Governance

• Strengthen financial controls and drive operational excellence.
• Safeguard assets through effective internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Contribute to risk assurance efforts and manage credit and inventory risk.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead the preparation of timely consolidated Management reports and performance insights.
• Conduct advanced forecasting, trend analysis, and ROI evaluations.
• Partner with commercial and trading teams to support value-maximization initiatives ( eg. capital efficiency).
• Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership through hands-on, strategic analysis.

People Leadership

• Develop and lead a high-performing finance team through coaching, training, and mentorship.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, performance, compliance, and adaptability.
• Promote professional development and alignment with company values.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. CPA/CA/ACCA certification preferred.
• Experience: 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in commodity trading or agri-related sectors. Exposure to developing markets and FX management is a strong plus.
• Leadership: Proven success leading cross-border finance teams across business units or regional entities.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong command of financial reporting, planning, and internal control frameworks.
  • Practical knowledge of inventory, debtors, and FX volatility management.
  • Adept at operating in dynamic, matrixed organizations with complex structures.
