A engineering contractor firm is looking for a M&E Project Manager (Data Center) in Singapore. The mandate will be responsibe and oversee various Data Center projects from conceptual to delivery stage.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple engineering projects from initial concept to final handover, ensuring they are completed within budget, on time, and meet safety and quality standards.
• Task Prioritization: Prioritize tasks and allocate manpower effectively to ensure optimal use of resources and adherence to project deadlines.
• Bid Preparation: Assist in preparing bid tenders for new projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Change Management: Evaluate and authorize significant changes impacting project scope, budget, or timeline.
• Leadership: Lead complex and critical engineering projects, monitoring progress and performance against the project plan.
• Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize delays.
• Team Development: Select, guide, and develop project team members to ensure the organization meets its business objectives and complies with relevant regulations and laws in Malaysia.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational and government safety standards, consistently meeting customer safety and quality specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Background: A recognized degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Industry Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in the local Engineering / ACMV industry.
• Technical Expertise: Have worked on Data Center projects before as a contractor
• Project Management: Handled numerous projects from start to end. PMP certified is a plus
