Job Description:
Requirements:
- Assist in evaluating animal patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and pain levels, to support the creation of tailored rehabilitation plans.
- Implement and adjust rehabilitation programs based on each patient's needs, condition, lifestyle, and recovery objectives, in consultation with veterinarians.
- Administer various therapeutic treatments such as: Hydrotherapy (e.g. underwater treadmill, assisted swimming), Laser and ultrasound therapy, Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), Structured land-based and therapeutic exercises, Manual therapy and massage techniques
- Use of assistive devices for mobility
- Track patient progress, modify treatment approaches where necessary, and maintain consistent therapy outcomes.
- Educate and support pet owners by explaining therapy plans, progress updates, and home care routines to encourage active participation in recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress notes for continuity of care and adherence to clinical standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary veterinary teams to ensure unified and patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Veterinary Technology.
- Certification in veterinary rehabilitation.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in veterinary rehabilitation (for Junior position).
- Familiarity with physical therapy techniques and animal handling best practices.
