We are seeking an experienced Head Baker to join our team at Konditori Pte. Ltd. in the vibrant Kampong Glam neighbourhood. As our Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all baking operations, ensuring the production of high-quality European-inspired pastries and breads to delight our customers. This is a full-time, on-site role.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and manage the bakery team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship
• Develop innovative recipes and constantly evolve our product menu to meet customer preferences
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety and quality standards in the bakery
• Monitor inventory and stock levels, and liaise with suppliers to maintain a consistent supply of ingredients
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment in the bakery
• Assist in the creation of training materials and conduct staff training sessions
• Work closely with the management team to align bakery operations with the overall business objectives

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Baker or in a senior baking role, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Formal training in baking and pastry arts, or equivalent work experience
• Exceptional baking skills and knowledge of traditional European baking techniques
• Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing baked goods
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, quality and cleanliness
