- Student Recruitment and Evaluation: Participating in the selection and evaluation process of prospective students, identifying individuals with strong potential for counselling studies.
- Research and Publication: Engaging in scholarly research and publishing articles.
- Institutional Support: Collaborating with colleagues and departments to support the overall objectives and mission of the institution.
- Student Development: Demonstrating genuine care for students' learning and spiritual development, promoting a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Community Involvement: Actively participating in the community life of the School of Counselling and the larger academic community within the institution.
Job Qualifications
- Agreement with the College's mission, vision, values, beliefs, and Statement of Faith. (See SBC's Website)
- Ph.D. or PsyD in Counseling Psychology or related field.
- Minimum five years of counselling experience, with additional experience in providing psychological education and training preferred.
- Strong commitment to biblical principles and values.
- Effective communicator.
