In this position as an Underwriting Assistant in the marine space, you will be expected to provide end-to-end servicing of insurance placements, both locally and internationally placed. You will be responsible to handle new and renewals endorsements as well as other services / ad hoc projects that support the underwriting process.

Skills and experience required

• Ideally 1+ years of underwriting assistant experience and ideally with knowledge/background in Marine space
• Strong business acumen, good understanding of marine business and passionate about maritime
• Strong relationship with intermediaries and brokers
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
