Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to support commercial strategies.
  • Engage in proactive outreach, including cold-calling and lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular updates and responsive service.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and prepare contracts within defined parameters.
  • Generate and analyze sales reports to inform decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align commercial initiatives with operational goals.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to support strategic planning.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • With a relevant sales background and proven track record and key account management, preferably in the marine industry
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with port operations or ocean-going towage is an advantage but not a must.
  • Prior experience in vessel chartering or commercial sales roles is highly desirable.
