Sales Manager - Marine & Energy

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager - Marine & Energy to spearhead our business growth in Singapore, one of the world's leading maritime and energy hubs. This role is central to expanding ATPI's footprint in the marine and offshore energy sectors by targeting vessel operators, energy companies, offshore service providers, and supporting industries. You will lead business development efforts in Singapore while contributing to strategic opportunities across Southeast Asia, working in close collaboration with regional sales counterparts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive new client acquisition and sales growth in the marine and energy sectors with a primary focus on the Singapore market.
• Identify and develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders across shipping lines, offshore operators, oil & gas firms, EPCs, and marine service companies.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle - from lead generation and consultative selling to contract negotiation and onboarding.
• Build a healthy and qualified sales pipeline specific to Singapore, with strong forecasting discipline and opportunity tracking.
• Lead regional and global bid responses for multinational clients with operations in Singapore, coordinating with internal stakeholders across borders.
• Represent ATPI at maritime and energy events, exhibitions, and forums in Singapore to promote brand presence and engage prospects.
• Monitor trends and developments in the Singapore marine and offshore ecosystem, including regulatory shifts, port activities, and competitor dynamics.
• Develop tailored sales strategies and go-to-market plans aligned with the commercial goals of Singapore-based clients.
• Maintain and manage data in the CRM system with accuracy and discipline, ensuring transparency and tracking of key sales metrics.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing our commercial offerings and customer value proposition in the sector.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in marine travel, offshore services, or energy-related industries in Singapore.
• Strong network and credibility within the Singapore maritime and energy community.
• Proven track record in solution-based selling and negotiating high-value contracts with complex stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of the commercial, operational, and compliance dynamics of the Singapore marine and energy sector.
• Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage senior executives and operational decision-makers.
• Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia when required.
