We are seeking a talented and interdisciplinary researcher to develop advanced nanocomposite and supramolecular materials for next-generation integrated sensor arrays. This role supports innovation in intelligent sensing technologies, contributing to the development of scalable, multifunctional sensor systems for emerging applications in healthcare, robotics, and environmental monitoring. The successful candidate will apply materials science principles to engineer sensor performance at the molecular and systems levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and fabricate functional polymers and nanocomposites for integration into flexible and robust sensor arrays.
• Explore supramolecular and hierarchical bonding strategies to enable mechanical durability and signal fidelity in multimodal sensors.
• Conduct validation of sensor arrays across multiple modalities, ensuring performance across variable environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize material-device interfaces and sensor architecture.
• Assist in the prototyping of sensor devices and contribute to the optimization of fabrication processes.
• Maintenance of lab or equipment or supplies that include procurement and liaison with suppliers.
• Assist or produce high quality reports and documents that consolidate research findings
• Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.
• Contribute to the mentoring and guidance of junior researchers and students, fostering an environment of learning and innovation within the project team.

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Polymer Materials Science, Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated research expertise in nanocomposites, supramolecular chemistry, mechanical property modulation, or functional polymers.
• Proficiency in advanced material synthesis and characterization techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to design and fabricate device prototypes for innovative applications.
• Strong track record of publications in high-impact journals.
• Capable of conducting independent research while effectively collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment.
