Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support and advice to our client. The Legal Counsel will be responsible for managing legal risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing contracts, and supporting various business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance to management and staff on a wide range of legal issues affecting the organization.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry standards.
- Manage and oversee legal risks/due diligence associated with business transactions and operations.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel when specialized legal expertise is required.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Support dispute resolution and handle legal claims or litigation matters as needed.
- Maintain organized legal records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- LLB or equivalent law degree from a reputable institution.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in corporate law, commercial law, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate findings clearly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with legal research tools and MS Office Suite.
