Job Description:

As a Centre Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and care provisions at our Day Care Centre (DCC). Your responsibilities will include performing intake assessments, supervising staff, coordinating programs and services, and ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the DCC. With your leadership skills and healthcare expertise, you will contribute to the well-being and quality of care provided to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake assessments and reviews of day care clients, overseeing Multi-Disciplinary Meetings for client reviews, including those in Day Rehab programs.
• Supervise daily routines such as meal preparation, serving of meals, preparing clients for activities, conducting activities, client reviews, and cleaning duties of care staff.
• Collaborate with the centre nurse and care staff to ensure clients' specific needs (Activities of Daily Living - ADLs) are met and effectively communicated within the team.
• Coordinate and plan programs and services with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the overall experience and outcomes for our clients.
• Direct, guide, and participate in the orientation and training of new staff, providing ongoing training and monitoring of care staff in providing care to day care clients and clients with dementia.
• Take charge of daily operations and care provisions for clients, supervising and deploying staff to ensure the Safety and Effectiveness of the Day Care Centre (DCC).
• Manage incidents in the centre related to staff, clients, and volunteers, ensuring resolution, proper reporting, and follow-up in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Centralized Team to ensure accurate billing and charges for clients and follow up on staff-related matters.
• Work with the Cluster Lead to ensure the financial sustainability of the centre, contributing to budget planning and monitoring.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of communications, assessments, and processes to maintain compliance and facilitate continuity of care.
• Carry out other responsibilities and duties as assigned from time to time to support the overall functioning of the DCC.

Job Requirements:

• Recognized degree in a healthcare discipline, such as nursing or allied health, providing a strong foundation for clinical leadership.
