Main Responsibilities:
- Manage playroom and/or family resource centre in hospital ward
- Plan, organise and provide playroom & bedside activities in hospital
- Organize special events in playroom and hospital ward
- Maintain and purchase supplies and resources in playroom and/or family resource centre
- Oversee cleaning of playrooms and all toys and equipment
- Supervise volunteers to be effective and competent in their roles
Requirements:
- Minimum a Diploma holder in Child Development, Child Psychology, Early Childhood Education and/or Special Needs Education or its equivalent
- Have prior work or volunteer experience with children
- Excellent communication and engagement skills to children and adults
- Effective in multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced and stressful environment
- Independent thinker who works well with people
- Possess persistence, initiative and ingenuity
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to work independently
- Possess good stamina and is fit to meet physical demands of the job
