Pet Groomer (Dog, Cat & Small Animal Specialist)

Are you a passionate pet lover with a gentle touch? A well-established and expanding pet shop is looking for a patient and caring Pet Groomer to join their team! If you love working with small animals like dogs, cats, and rabbits and have the skills to keep them looking and feeling their best, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Groom and style pets based on owners' requests or standard grooming styles.
• Perform de-matting, detangling, bathing, conditioning, and drying of pets.
• Trim nails, brush teeth, and clean ears to maintain pets' hygiene.
• Handle pets with care and patience, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming.
• Identify and inform pet owners about any potential health issues (e.g., ear infections, skin conditions, or dental concerns).
• Recommend suitable pet care products to owners.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic grooming environment.
• Supervise and guide Assistant Groomers in their daily tasks.

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on grooming experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits.
• Class C Certification in pet grooming.
• Ability to oversee and mentor Assistant Groomers.
• Passion for animals, patience, and a caring approach.
