KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sales Management
  • Assist Sales Manager in developing Annual Business Plan, budgeting, and A&P (Advertising & Promotion) planning.
  • Prepare internal and external business review decks and presentations.
  • Perform sales analysis by segment and by retailer (pre- and post-activity) to evaluate performance and ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal Brand Managers and external Retail Buyers on campaigns, product launches, promotional packs, pricing, and cross-promotions.
  • Maintain and update the Monthly Promotion Scheduler.

2. Trade Planning & Execution
  • Ensure effective distribution of new and existing products across assigned retail accounts.
  • Initiate and implement trade marketing promotions with existing or new buyers.
  • Partner with Trade Marketing team on in-store promotion setup, merchandising, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Supervise and support Sales Merchandisers to ensure retail execution.
  • Track and update promotional activities and assets regularly.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and identify new growth opportunities.

3. Supply Chain Coordination
  • Liaise with internal supply chain and retailers for accurate stock forecasting and timely delivery before campaigns or festive periods.
  • Coordinate with retailers to ensure availability of inventory (BTB orders).

4. Other Responsibilities
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer or Head of Department.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Sales & Trade Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of sales fundamentals and retail trade execution, especially in FMCG.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse sales data and evaluating performance.
  • Presentation & Proposal Development: Competence to prepare clear and compelling presentations and reports.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work across teams and with external partners.
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Competence in using spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
  • Project & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-Solving: Resourcefulness in resolving issues with a sense of urgency.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Min. 2 years of relevant experience in Trade Marketing or Sales (online/offline), preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Experience in managing promotions, campaigns, or retail activations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
