This role is central to delivering high-quality show productions, including the flagship Extra• Ordinary Celebrations and other EPL events, while also driving the strategic growth of the Extraordinary Music Company (EMC) - a unique platform that nurtures and showcases the talents of youths with special needs in music and performing arts. The programme manager plays a pivotal role in supporting performing arts development of the organization.

This includes caregiver engagement, data management, cross-departmental coordination, management of all the arts related programmes.

Event Management / Production & Arts Management (80% job emphasis)
  • To oversee and operationalize all EPL stage events and lead in the areas of Event Management and Show Production - Annual Extraordinary Celebrations event and other stage events required of EPL
  • In support of creating vocational pathways for our clients in performing arts, to develop performing arts strategy for Extraordinary Music Company (EMC) of Extra• Ordinary People. EMC involves the development of clients above 18 who are on performing arts pathways (Percussion, Vocal, bands and dance)
  • To inculcate and collaborate relevant stakeholder partnerships, in the curation of a robust EMC programme.
  • To seek out funding opportunities from funders and institution including other non-profit or for-profit arts organisations, to resource the EMC programme.
  • To actively promote and grow the EMC programme to establish itself as a prominent centre of excellence for performing arts (Special needs)


Community Partnerships and Communications (20% job emphasis - Team based)
  • Explore, build and develop new and existing community partnership and develop, plan and execute the strategy for programmes and events to raise awareness and promote the Charity and EMC.
  • Explore, develop and market outreach programmes with clients, beneficiaries, donors, communities, government departments as appropriate to promote products and secure sponsorships and donations of the Charity and EMC.
  • Explore, analyse and investigate potential new projects for Charity involving EMC.
  • Oversee all internal and external communications, ensuring the Company's branding is consistent and all messaging is aligned to the Company's strategy, including donor communications and social media presence
  • Develop program including but not limited to cause-related marketing, corporate social responsibility programmes and events.
  • Develop new creative innovative marketing strategies for fundraising and donor acquisition purposes
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction
  • Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials pres not limited to releases, press kits, newsletters, corporate videos and related marketing materials.
  • Development and management of Email marketing, Web site management and content development


Others
  • To engage EMC clients and their families in meaningful activities within or outside of programmes that are aligned to EPL's/EMC objectives. (CCA, outings, learning journeys, CSR opportunities etc)
  • Support in the Supervision and guidance of new hires and interns (for Production work, community partnerships and communications functions) where appropriate/required.
  • Supporting the Management in other duties when required


Job Requirement
  • Hold preferably degree or experience in any discipline, with relevant professional experience (Preference for experience in social care (SPED) or the visual and performing arts industry, although not mandatory).
  • Performing Arts and Visual Arts backgrounds/experience will have an added advantage.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, critical thinking abilities, and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, resilience, and tenacity in pursuing programme objectives.
  • Adaptability to fluid environments, with a flexible approach to work and the ability to thrive under pressure in dynamic settings.
  • Proficiency in basic grant management and financial skills to oversee programme budgets and evaluations.
