Engineering Assistant (Vision System)

• Working days & hours: Mon - Fri (8:15am-5:15pm)
• Salary: $2,500 - $3,500
• Location: Nedok North (transport pick up from Bedok MRT)

Responsibilities :

• To support online computer vision test/offline vision test.
• Support Vision Engineers in validating the samples and daily needs on vision system development.
• To assemble and integrate bowl feeders, lighting stations, cameras and lenses to the machine.
• To qualify automated machines and test run the systems.
• To assist in conducting method studies and configuration experiment.
• To test run, analyze escapee/overkill samples.
• Able to do simple AOI tooling.
• Explore ways and means to improve the production efficiency and effectiveness.
• Carry out the designing and installation of self-built fixture onto the machine and commissioning it prior to production buy-off.
• Involve in the planning and executing the automation work as part of an effort to improve machine performance.

Requirements :

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Electronics or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferably in the manufacturing industry.
