This role will act as Telemetry Team Lead and will oversee the end-to-end management of high-frequency sensor data collected from the company's fleet of vessels. This role combines technical leadership, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure reliable data collection, transmission and quality that drive operational excellence and innovation.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Lead and mentor a team of telemetry engineers, setting direction and prioritizing work to meet business objectives.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of telemetry systems for real-time vessel data collection and monitoring.
• Collaborate with IT, Electronics and Technical teams to deliver data integrity and data quality that results to actionable insights from sensor data.
• Develop and enforce best practices for data management, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for telemetry processes, tools, and team capabilities.
• Prepare and present regular reports and recommendations to the internal stakeholders and the management.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to maritime telemetry.

Qualification / Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Engineering, with strong understanding of Automation and Marine Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar field and/or experience with ship superintending, automation or electronics engineering.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams within the maritime sector.
• Project management skills and good understanding of software and data engineering.
• Operating knowledge of various maritime automation and/or data acquisition systems.
• Committed and responsible in meeting deadlines with excellent time management skills
• Independent, outcome driven, organized and resourceful.
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills and can work efficiently with multicultural teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
