Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Manager to oversee legal matters and align with legal compliance within our educational institution in Singapore. This role involves labor law compliance, contracts, policies, and other legal matters related to the education sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal affairs, particularly in Singapore's regulatory landscape.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 15+ years in Human Resource Management.
• Education: Degree/Diploma in LLB, or other relevant qualifications.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• In-depth knowledge of Singapore Labour Laws, Employment Act, and MOM procedures.

• Proven experience in drafting legal documents and handling HR compliance.

• Prior experience working with a law firm (preferred).

• This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage both HR functions and legal matters effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal & Compliance

• Draft and review employment contracts, vendor agreements, and student enrollment terms.
• Ensure legal compliance in tuition fee structures, refund policies, and school governance.
• Liaise with government authorities (e.g., MOE, MOM, ICA) for work passes and regulatory approvals.
• Stay updated on Singapore's labor laws, Employment Act, and MOM regulations to ensure compliance.
