Career Opportunity: Junior Sous Chef - Modern Japanese Dining (Up to $3,000 | 5/6 Days Work Week)

Step into a role that brings your passion for Japanese cuisine to life. We're looking for a skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team at a reputable Japanese restaurant known for delivering quality, consistency, and creativity.

What You'll Do
  • Assist in daily food prep and cooking across a variety of Japanese dishes (e.g., sushi, sashimi, tempura, donburi, grilled items)
  • Support the Head Chef in managing smooth kitchen operations
  • Guide and oversee junior kitchen team members to ensure service readiness
  • Uphold top-tier food quality, taste, and presentation every time
  • Monitor kitchen hygiene and safety standards (we take it seriously)
  • Help manage inventory, including stock rotation and ordering
  • Step in confidently when the Head Chef or Sous Chef is away

✅ What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience, ideally in Japanese cuisine
  • Hands-on knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques and ingredients
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable, and a team-first attitude
  • Able to work 5 or 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays
  • A genuine love for food, kitchen culture, and continuous learning
