What you will be working on?

• Conduct thorough research with primary and secondary sources on the objects explore in Asia in global design history - emphasising exchanges between Asia and the world, from the perspective of Asia
• Assist in editing transcripts, preparing bibliographies, captions, photograph orderings, and footnotes related to the exhibition and the accompanying publication(s).
• Assist in the production of multimedia materials (such as videos, soundtracks, or digital initiatives) for the exhibition, if applicable.
• Support administrative tasks related to the exhibition, including compiling artifact lists, archiving photographs, and filing relevant documentation.
• Assist curators with acquisitions including loans, purchases, and donations, prepare documentation, acquisition justification forms and other administrative documents.

What are we looking for?

• Singaporean only
• Minimum Degree in art/design history, history, anthropology, museum/curatorial studies, material culture studies, or a related subject.
• Keen interest (with research experience/knowledge) in 20th and 21st century design or in the history of design in Singapore and Asia region, with emphasis on contemporary practices
