Technical Superintendent in Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all technical aspects of assigned vessels meet the standards outlined in our contractual agreements with clients.
• Maintain proactive communication and strong relationships with client representatives involved in daily operations.
• Provide continuous technical and operational support for a designated group of vessels.
• Monitor machinery and equipment performance, address operational discrepancies, and drive improvements for safety and efficiency.
• Develop and supervise vessel maintenance and repair plans, including planning and execution of dry-docking.
• Oversee budget planning and tracking for all assigned vessels, ensuring cost-effectiveness and transparency.
• Ensure vessel compliance with maritime laws, safety regulations, and certification requirements.
• Conduct technical inspections and internal audits to identify opportunities for improvement and to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Promote and implement the company's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies onboard.
• Drive continuous improvement across all technical management functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering
• Chief Engineer's Certificate of Competency

Experience:

• Minimum 12 months sailing experience as Chief Engineer.
• 1 year shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent

• In-depth knowledge of vessel operations, machinery, and maritime regulations
