Job Title: Field Technical Sales Executive - CES/NGS

Location: Singapore

Company: Macrogen APAC

Job Summary: The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for increasing sales and market share by enhancing market awareness of Macrogen's services, generating new sales leads, closing sales, and gathering and providing feedback on market intelligence.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field calls primarily in Singapore to acquire new accounts and maintain existing ones.
  • Assist in developing effective sales strategies to boost sales and market share.
  • Consistently achieve sales targets and average monthly revenue quotas.
  • Manage ongoing orders and projects.
  • Provide logistical support for sample submissions from customers.
  • Generate quotations and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Provide sales forecasts and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Participate in tenders and Invitations to Quote (ITQs).
  • Organize and participate in sales events.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports as required.

Requirements and Preferences:
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, biomedical science, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in genomics sales is preferred but not limitted for fresh graduates.
  • Knowledge of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) is an advantage.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • People-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
