Position Summary:

The Guest Wellness Host provides exceptional, guest-centric service across the Gym, Poolside Deck, and Palm Café. Blending wellness experiences with F&B responsibilities, this role focuses on creating personalized and relaxing moments for guests. As a key ambassador of wellness and leisure, the host ensures a clean, safe, and inviting environment, while confidently engaging with guests and thriving in outdoor settings.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

Poolside & Gym Guest Experience

• Welcome guests with towels, hydration, and seating support.
• Monitor pool and gym areas for cleanliness, ambience, and safety.
• Provide assistance with gym equipment and wellness-related questions.

Palm Café Support & Service

• Assist with seating, menu recommendations, and light order-taking.
• Promote food and beverage options.
• Support the development of signature healthy refreshments.
• Set and adjust ambience (music, lighting) for different service periods.

Ambience & Cleanliness Oversight

• Conduct regular checks to ensure ideal sensory conditions (music, lighting).
• Maintain tidy and well-presented guest areas throughout the day.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure consistent upkeep and setup.

Guest Engagement & Personalization

• Build rapport through friendly interactions and anticipate guest needs.
• Log guest preferences for future personalization.
• Provide thoughtful farewell gestures like cold towels or wellness tips.

Safety and Security

• Monitor pool area for safety and rule compliance.
• Respond to emergencies with first aid or CPR.
• Report hazards or maintenance concerns immediately.

Key Requirements:

• Passion for outdoor hospitality and working in al fresco settings.
• Strong service-oriented mindset with excellent guest interaction skills.
• Basic wellness knowledge (hydration, recovery nutrition, light activity support).
• Proactive upselling ability and tactful promotion of menu items.
• High attention to detail in cleanliness, presentation, and sensory experiences.
• Familiarity with digital order systems and QR code menus.
• Safety awareness (CPR, water rescue, or lifeguard certification preferred).
• Strong swimming skills and ability to work outdoors in various weather.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift as needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
