As an Assistant Coordinator (Call Centre), you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Respond to medical inquiries received through a 24/7 integrated phone line, serving as part of a patient triage network and providing support to caregivers and community partners seeking health-related information.
  • Assess and prioritize incoming calls, gathering necessary medical details for escalation to clinical staff (nurses or physicians).
  • Accurately document all call interactions in the designated call management system and electronic medical records (EMR) platform.
  • Conduct follow-ups on clinical cases after a specified period to review patient status and outcomes.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care, including training and development programs to improve knowledge and skills.
  • Support organizational projects and community engagement events in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
  • Possess a Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Nursing, Social Work or Allied Health
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in healthcare industry, contact centre environment and/or service related industry
  • Able to commit to shift work for hotline coverage (including weekends and public holidays)
